Here's a look at why Phil 'The Power' Taylor towers above the rest of planet darts when it comes to the World Matchplay in Blackpool.
Legendary star Taylor's signed off at the Winter Gardens with a 16th World Matchplay victory continued as he followed up Friday's defeat of reigning champion Michael van Gerwen with a 17-9 win over Adrian Lewis.
The 56-year-old veteran came through against Peter Wright the outsider, 18-8 in the final to make more history.
'The Power' has won the title at the famous Winter Gardens in 1995, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and now 2017.
He won five in a row from 2000-04 and seven in a row from 2008-14, but reclaiming the crown on Sunday is arguable his ultimate achievement.
