IPL 2016: Royal Challengers Bangalore drop two catches in two balls

Look away now, Stuart Binny and Sachin Baby...

Pune batsman Saurabh Tiwary thanks his lucky stars as he is dropped twice in two balls against Bangalore, first by Stuart Binny and then Sachin Baby

The old adage is that catches win matches - but that didn't quite transpire for Royal Challengers Bangalore in their IPL game with Rising Pune Supergiants!

Royal Challengers were extremely sloppy in the field as Pune plundered 191-7 from their 20 overs - but the hosts were bailed out by skipper Virat Kohli, whose stunning 108 not out sealed victory for his team with three balls to spare at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

That came as huge relief to Bangalore's Stuart Binny and Sachin Baby, who dropped Pune batsman Saurabh Tiwary twice in two balls in the sixth over, at cover-point and point respectively. Watch the errors in the video above.

RCB were also guilty of a missed stumping and slack ground fielding, while there was a comical moment when Shane Watson and Varun Aaron were unable to decide which of them should go for a catch and neither did!
