By Benedict Bermange, Cricket Statistician
Since February 24 1990, Sky Sports has brought you 199 live England Test matches featuring 206,456 runs and 6,183 wickets.
In 66,723.3 overs of action our cameras have captured 386 Test centuries and 29 ten-wicket hauls, with England winning 70 matches, losing 67, drawing 61 and taking part in one abandoned match, the infamous first Test against West Indies in early 1998.
For the record, England have scored 102,754 runs for the loss of 3.065 wickets with 196 centuries and 439 fifties.
- Two batsmen have carried their bats through completed innings: Michael Atherton at Christchurch in 1997 and Rahul Dravid at The Oval in 2011
- Tim Southee hit the fastest fifty – from 29 balls at Napier in 2008. Nasser Hussain hit the slowest – from 213 balls at Durban in 1999
- The fastest hundred was hit by Adam Gilchrist – from 57 balls at Perth in 2006. The slowest was by Thilan Samaraweera – from 345 balls for Sri Lanka at Colombo in 2003
- Michael Vaughan was dismissed 'Handled the Ball' against India at Bengaluru in 2001
- Craig McDermott’s unbeaten innings of 42 at Adelaide in 1991 is the highest individual score not to contain any boundaries
