Bangladesh have included uncapped pace bowler Abu Jayed but omitted batsman Imrul Kayes from their 15-man World Cup squad.
Jayed, who has taken 11 wickets in five Tests for the Tigers but is yet to play an ODI, has been preferred to fellow seamer Taskin Ahmed.
Middle-order batsman and occasional off-spinner Mosaddek Hossain also returns, having last played for Bangladesh in the Asia Cup last September.
However, there is no spot for Kayes, who made scores of nought and four in his two most recent ODIs, against Windies in December, having struck 144, 90 and 115 against Zimbabwe in his three previous innings.
Left-arm quick Mustafizur Rahman (ankle), all-rounder Mahmudullah (shoulder) and seamer Rubel Hossain (side strain) have all been included following injury issues.
Uncapped duo Yasir Ali and Nayeem Hasan will also link up with the squad for the 50-over tri-series against Ireland and Windies, which is being held in Dublin in May.
Bangladesh's World Cup Squad: Mashrafe Mortaza (captain), Liton Das, Mohammad Mithun, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Saifuddin, Abu Jayed, Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain
