England Cricket have confirmed that the Ashes squad and management are safe after a car deliberately drove into a crowd in Melbourne.
Fourteen people were injured in the incident, which happened just after 16:30 local time (05:30 GMT) on Flinders Street.
Police arrived within minutes and arrested two men at the scene. It is not known whether the incident is terror-related.
The fourth Ashes Test resumes on Boxing Day at the 100,000-capacity Melbourne Cricket Ground, with England announcing that the players are safe.
England Cricket tweeted saying: "Following the Flinders Street incident in Melbourne, all England players and management have been accounted for and are safe."
The tourists head into the fourth Test 3-0 down to Australia, who have already regained the Ashes after bowling them out for 218 to win by an innings and 41 runs.
England are looking to avoid a third 5-0 whitewash in their last four visits down under.
But they might have to play without Craig Overton, who is a doubt and might miss the Boxing Day Ashes Test due to a hairline fracture in his rib.
The Somerset bowler battled through pain in Perth after sustaining the injury in Adelaide, but is undergoing assessment ahead of the fourth Test.
