Pakistan hammered England by nine wickets at Lord's to go 1-0 up in the two-match Test series.
England's slim hopes of escaping defeat had been raised by a century partnership between Jos Buttler and Dom Bess the previous evening.
But Buttler (67) fell lbw to Mohammad Abbas (4-41) in the second over and the home side quickly collapsed, with Bess (57) the last man out to Mohammad Amir (4-36).
And it took Pakistan just 12.4 overs to knock off the 64 needed for victory, with Haris Sohail hitting 39 not out from 32 balls.
