Pakistan v England: See how hosts took control on day three in Dubai

Wahab runs amok before Younus joins the 9,000 club...

Watch a pick of the action from the third day of the second Test between Pakistan and England

Saturday was most definitely Pakistan's day.

Misbah-ul-Haq's men skittled England 242 on the third morning of the second Test in Dubai before reaching 222-3 by the close to take a lead of 358 and move into firm control of the contest.

Wahab Riaz (4-66) and Yasir Shah (4-93) combined to rip the heart out of England's innings, the tourists losing their final seven wickets for 36 runs after top scorer Joe Root (88) perished.

Mark Wood and James Anderson struck early in Pakistan's second knock but captain Misbah (87no), opener Mohammad Hafeez (51) and the evergreen Younus Khan (71no) plundered half-centuries.

Younus' innings also saw him pass 9,000 Test match runs, the right-hander becoming the oldest man to secure that milestone at the age of 37 years and 329 days.
