David Lloyd says the "feel-good factor" is back with the England Test team after their innings win over Pakistan at Headingley.
On the latest Sky Sports Cricket Podcast - which you can download HERE - Bumble singles out Jos Buttler for praise, while adds that young duo Dominic Bess and Sam Curran, on debut, helped "liven up" the home side.
Bumble does add a note of caution, however, that England still have "a long way to go" before the start of the five-Test series against India starting in August, and says the lack of County Championship action before then "hinders the Test team".
The second Test saw Sky team up with the ECB for the 'Participation Test' to shine the spotlight on a range of grassroots initiatives designed to help grow the game, and Bumble believes the game has never been in better health as a result.
"It's bringing cricket to the fore," said Bumble. "All of these initiatives, All Stars Cricket, Chance to Shine, Asian community, bring everything to light.
"The best thing about this Test match was seeing the number of young children - you cannot get away from it. That flies in the face of a lot of people who say that there is a lost generation. No there isn't.
"I've been in this game since 1965 and supposedly it has been 'dying' ever since then. But I am in a privileged position to now watch some fabulous cricketers, from all over the world. I think the game is in great heart."
One such initiative involves a comprehensive South Asian Action Plan that has been created to remove barriers and boost opportunities for Asian communities, which ECB chief executive Tom Harrison says will include developing 20 urban cricket centres and potential travel and kit bursaries. Bayliss describes England's emphatic win at Headingley as a "step in the right direction", adding that veteran bowlers James Anderson and Stuart Broad "showed their class" following criticism after the first Test defeat at Lord's.
Arthur, meanwhile, suggests he may have to "dish out a couple of hidings" to his "gutted" dressing room following his side's poor display in the second Test but adds that his young side "did a lot of things right" to tie a difficult overseas series.
