England captain Eoin Morgan sidelined by finger injury

Eoin Morgan says he is 'not concerned' by the fractured finger that will keep him out of action for the ICC World XI on Thursday.

England one-day captain Eoin Morgan has fractured his finger and will miss Thursday's Rest of the World XI v Windies T20.

Morgan was due to skipper the ICC World XI squad against the Windies at Lord's in a match to raise funds to restore five major Caribbean cricketing venues that suffered hurricane damage last year.

Pakistan legend Shahid Afridi will captain the side in Morgan's absence, with Sam Billings - fresh from winning the Indian Premier League with Chennai Super Kings - taking Morgan's place in the squad.

Tymal Mills and Sam Curran have also been drafted into the World XI squad for the match which gets underway live on Sky Sports Cricket at 5.30pm.

Sussex and England left-arm quick Tymal Mills has been drafted into the World XI team to play the West Indies in the Hurricane Relief T20 Challenge on Thursday, live on Sky Sports.

Morgan sustained the injury to the ring finger on his right hand while fielding during Middlesex's Royal London One-Day Cup clash with Somerset on Sunday, with the injury expected to sideline him for a week.
