Watch the best of the action from day three of the first Investec Test, as Sri Lanka crumbled to an innings defeat to England inside three days at Headingley.

James Anderson took 10 wickets in the match - five in each innings to banish memories of his struggles at Headingley in the past.

Test Cricket: The Verdict

After Sri Lanka resisted somewhat to reach lunch 77-2 - Anderson taking both wickets - they crumbled after an extended rain break, losing their last eight wickets for 40 runs.

Kusal Mendis (53) notched a maiden Test fifty for Sri Lanka, having earlier been dropped by Jonny Bairstow on 29 and then James Vince at third slip on 47.

He was the only batsman to offer any real resistance, but was one of Anderson's victims in the afternoon, while Steven Finn took three wickets and Moeen Ali and Stuart Broad one apiece.
