Sussex seamer Tymal Mills' 'raw ability' should convince England to pick him in T20 cricket this summer, says Nasser Hussain.
Mills' congenital back condition prevents him from playing four-day cricket but he is a key player for Sussex in the shortest form and also represented England Lions in T20s over the winter.
The left-arm speedster cleaned up Chris Gayle with a 93mph yorker in his county's NatWest T20 Blast victory over Somerset in Hove on Wednesday.
And Sky Sports expert Hussain reckons the England selectors, as well as IPL franchises, will be keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old.
"Other than the fear of him snapping, there is no reason this lad shouldn't play T20 for England or domestically around the world," said Hussain after watching Mills ruffle Somerset live on Sky Sports.
"He bowled out world superstar Gayle, nearly bumped out Mahela Jayawardena and showed he has a brilliant slower ball as well as a brilliant faster ball - in terms of raw ability, he has it all."
Mills tormented England ahead of the 2013 Ashes when he bowled against them for Essex in a first-class game, striking Graeme Swann on the arm and taking the wickets of Alastair Cook and Jonathan Trott.
Hussain says it is a 'shame' Mills' fitness issues have dashed his hopes of displaying his ability in the Test arena but is grateful that T20 has given him a vehicle to remain in cricket.
"When you watch him you get mixed emotions," Hussain added of Mills, who took 55 wickets in his 32 first-class matches.
"We all saw the spell he bowled against England when he hit Swann and took a few wickets - we thought he had a real future in the longer form.
"It's a shame that's not the case but if it wasn't for T20, he would have to do another job."
