Joseph Parker says he is ready to inflict a "lot of damage" on Anthony Joshua after the confirmation of their world heavyweight title unification clash.
The WBO champion insists he is not concerned about travelling to Britain to face Joshua, the WBA 'super' and IBF title holder, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on March 31, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Parker expressed relief after lengthy negotiations for the fight were finally concluded and sent out a warning to Joshua ahead of their press conference this week.
"We're here for business," Parker told Sky Sports News. "It's finally done now, so I'm looking forward to getting back to training.
"Obviously training hard, putting in the work, and then coming with my team to put on a good show in March.
"I can do a lot of damage. I feel like it's my time. He thinks it's his time, so it's just about who trains hardest, who wants it more and we're both going to put our undefeated records on the line.
"May the best champion win."
The unbeaten Joshua has knocked out all 20 of his previous opponents, but Parker holds 18 stoppages in his own perfect 24-fight record, and is confident he can topple the home favourite.
"Oh definitely. If I don't back myself, or if I don't believe in what I can do, I wouldn't be here fighting him. I'm not scared of AJ," said the 26-year-old New Zealander.
"I know he's a good fighter and I respect him, but I back myself with anyone I jump in the ring with.
"I'm looking forward to putting on a great show. I don't care if I win or lose. I just want to challenge and I think there should be one champion.
"He's been down. Glass chin is just one of those things where my team come up with it to describe him and what his chin is, but I feel like I have a lot of respect for him.
"In the last fight I saw with [Wladimir] Klitschko, he got knocked down, got up, showed a lot of heart, so credit to him. I think when we come together we're both going to throw some big bombs. Someone is going to get knocked out."
