Ohara Davies has issued a fresh challenge to Tommy Coyle as he awaits an opponent for a fight date in February.
'Two Tanks' held talks this week with promoter Eddie Hearn about his next career move after he captured the WBA international title with a brutal knockout victory over Tom Farrell in September.
A fight against Coyle was discussed last month, although Davies has questioned whether the Hull man is willing to take the domestic clash.
"Early February I'm going to be out," Davies told the Toe 2 Toe podcast. "I'm not sure who I'm going to be fighting against. Me and Eddie sat down yesterday, looking through opponents. Not too sure yet, but that's his job.
"Tommy Coyle don't want to fight me. He's under Steve Wood, the same guy that Tom Farrell's under. Steve Wood won't let him anyway near me.
"Tommy Coyle don't want the fight, he don't want no part of me. Tommy Coyle you're a complete bum, let's get this on, early Feb."
Davies has stoked up a rivalry with fighters from Liverpool following wins over Derry Mathews and Tom Farrell and could switch his attention to Robbie Davies Jr, a third opponent from the same city.
"I want to fight someone that's known, someone that's from Liverpool," said Davies. "I like fighting the known fighters. Tom Farrell, he brought his whole city out against me.
"They've got Robbie Davies Jr, he's from Liverpool - he don't want to fight me either. He got knocked out by that journeyman in his last fight, didn't he?"
A first professional defeat at the hands of Josh Taylor in July did not permanently dent the confidence of Davies, who believes he will face the Scotsman again in the future.
"I have to have that rematch," said the Hackney man. "I won't be satisfied until I fight him again. Until I fight him again, I'm going to knock all these guys out."
