Joseph Parker has issued another Twitter challenge to Anthony Joshua as negotiations over a world heavyweight unification fight continue.

Joshua holds the WBA 'super' and IBF belts while Parker is the WBO champion, and the rival camps have been discussing a blockbuster 2018 showdown.

However, Parker's promoter David Higgins said earlier this week that talks had reached a deadlock, saying: "AJ is refusing to compromise and has drawn a line in the sand."

The Parker camp claim they have offered a 35-65 split of the purse in Joshua's favour and the unbeaten New Zealand fighter says a rematch deal is also part of their offer.

The 25-year-old posted a tweet on Thursday morning, which featured a clip of Joshua from April this year, in which he said: "I don't box for money, I just enjoy it."

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn told Sky Sports last week that a deal for a fight with Parker was getting closer and that: "There's a good chance [Parker's promoter] David Higgins will fly over in the next week to try and close the deal."

However, Higgins says the sides are currently too far apart for the trip to be worthwhile.

"I won't be boarding a plane until we are close," he said.
