Sky Live: Daniel Jacobs, Jarrell Miller and Conor Benn feature in New York

New York takes centre stage this Sunday morning as Matchroom Boxing heads stateside for what promises to be an explosive night of action.

Local favourite Daniel Jacobs, a former middleweight world champion, headlines at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale as he takes on young pretender and unbeaten contender Luis Arias.

The co-feature bout sees fast-talking heavyweight Jarrell Miller battle towering Pole Mariusz Wach, while Conor Benn will look to maintain his ruthless streak as the emerging prospect makes his American bow, live on Sky Sports.

Jacobs (32-2-KO29) will be fighting for the first time under new promoter Eddie Hearn and the talented American has vowed to put on a show in front of a buoyant home crowd.

Daniel Jacobs has signed a multi-fight agreement with HBO, Matchroom and Sky Sports with the first date in November.

'Miracle Man' Jacobs narrowly and somewhat controversially lost out to fearsome pound-for-pound star Gennady Golovkin back in March and the New Yorker is intent on regaining world honours.

27-year-old Arias is no pushover though and the confident Milwaukee middleweight looked very impressive and powerful in beating Arif Magomedov last time out. Arias (18-0-KO9) has been patiently waiting for his chance and now 'Cuba' has it.

Jarrell Miller vs Mariusz Wach

Miller will target a 20th career victory against Wach this weekend as the the hard-hitting heavyweight looks to edge closer to a world title shot.

The unbeaten Brooklyn powerhouse is never shy of a word or two and 'Big Baby' has been vocal in calling out Brits Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte among others. Now, live on Sky Sports, Miller has the opportunity to show that he can also walk the walk.

Wach will prove a stern test and the experienced 37-year-old, who only has losses to Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetklin on a more than credible 35-fight resume, will have a massive height advantage when the pair meet in the ring, making for an intriguing clash of styles.

Conor Benn's American debut

Benn will look to improve his record to 10-0 in style as the hard-hitting welterweight heads stateside for the first time in his career.

The Essex star seems to be improving with every fight and Benn is leaving a ruthless streak in his wake with highlight-reel knockouts becoming a familiarity.

The 21-year-old will follow in his father Nigel's footsteps by fighting across the Atlantic as 'The Destroyer' takes the next step in what is becoming an increasingly exciting career.

Conor Benn looked razor sharp with a first round stoppage win against Nathan Clarke.
