Luke Campbell says he is in the same mindset that brought him Olympic gold as he counts down to taking on Jorge Linares.
The London 2012 winner challenges WBA world lightweight champion Linares in Inglewood, California, at the weekend, live on Sky Sports.
It will be Campbell's first attempt at adding his name to British boxing record books, alongside James DeGale and Anthony Joshua, and has his sights set firmly on completing the historic double.
"I am feeling great, really good," he told Sky Sports' Jon Beloffe.
"I've never felt this focused before... actually I am lying, the last time I was this focused was in the Olympic Games.
"I am focused, I am determined and you will see the best of Luke Campbell."
DeGale made history by winning an Olympic gold for Great Britain at Beijing 2008 and then a professional world title, followed by Campbell's 2012 team-mate, Joshua, who he has been in touch with in the build-up.
Beating three-weight world champion Linares would see the Hull star achieve the double quicker than DeGale and he has warned the Venezuelan he will see a different side to him when they meet in the ring.
"I respect what he's done in the sport and we are getting into the ring to fight each other so before, why does there need to be any disrespect going on?" he said.
"He's a champion and I respect him for that but when that bell goes it all goes out the window."
Watch Luke Campbell challenge Jorge Linares, live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action, from 3am on Sunday.
