Dillian Whyte claimed a split decision win over Dereck Chisora

Dereck Chisora's promoters have called for a 'huge' rematch with Dillian Whyte after he suffered a split decision defeat on Saturday night.

The British heavyweight rivals produced a thrilling fight at Manchester Arena, which saw Whyte emerge with winning scores of 115-113 and 115-114, while the third judge scored it 115-114 to 'Del Boy.'

Chisora had attracted fresh controversy with his antics during an ugly feud with Whyte, but received a hero's reception when he left the ring and promoter Nisse Sauerland is pushing for a return bout.

"I think everyone wants to see this fight again and a rematch will be huge for both fighters!''
