Jarrell Miller has mocked Deontay Wilder's world title defence against Chris Arreola and believes he would knock out the challenger within four rounds.

Wilder (36-0-KO35) was allowed to choose a new opponent after Alexander Povetkin failed a drug test and will instead make the fourth defence of his WBC heavyweight title against Arreola (36-4-1-KO31) in Birmingham, Alabama on July 16.

But 'Big Baby' Miller, a rising American contender, insists Wilder is largely ignored by US fight fans and ridiculed the credentials of Arreola, who has already failed in two previous world title shots.

"Man nobody gives a **** about no Wilder and no Chris Arreola," the New Yorker told Sky Sports.

"That is why more than 80 per cent of America don't know who the hell Deontay Wilder is.

"When they talk about Deontay Wilder, they say: 'Who is that guy who has got a belt from Alabama?' They know him as the wild guy and that is just the reason why people in his own country don't know who he is.

"The opponent he is fighting, is a washed-up Chris Arreola. The only people that care about him are the Mexicans in California and they are going to fight in Alabama, so I don't know how that is going to go?

"If they wanted someone to come in last minute, they should have got [Bermane] Stiverne. Stiverne has been in the gym, he was WBC (champion). I think he deserves a rematch. That would have been something worth watching. Nobody wants to see that crap."

The unbeaten Miller, with 15 stoppages in his 17 victories, is confident he would make short work of Arreola, who was halted by Stiverne and Vitali Klitschko in his world title attempts.

"First of all, he's the quickest punching bag they could find," said Miller. "So they know it's an easy win for Deontay.

"I stop Arreola within four rounds max. I tell you one thing, he does not make it out of the fourth round - I can guarantee you that. I would beat him while eating a burrito."
