Dillian Whyte has been unimpressed by David Haye's comeback and says the former world champion looks too heavy.

Haye (28-2-KO26) has easily dispatched Mark de Mori and Arnold Gjergjaj since ending a three-and-a-half year hiatus from the sport in January.

The standard of Haye's second opponent in particular attracted criticism from some quarters and London rival Whyte (16-1-KO13), who is preparing to make his return from shoulder surgery on the undercard of Anthony Joshua v Dominic Breazeale on June 25 - live on Sky Sports Box Office - also thinks the 35-year-old's famous reflexes have slowed.

Whyte told Sky Sports: "I'd have no problem with facing David Haye. The Haye of now is not the same as the Haye of years ago. He didn't look particularly fast and he looks a bit too heavy and musclebound. He looks like a body builder - his chest is the size of my head.

"His card the other night was terrible. I'm a fan of David's - don't get me wrong - and he is trying to work his way back in and get some fights but he needs to stop lying to the fans. They're not big fights and he needs to be honest.

Trainer Dave Coldwell hails Bellew's power

"Just be truthful about the fact that you're fighting a nobody to get your range, movement and timing back. That's fine. Everyone's allowed to do that and I've no issue with it but when he says he deserves a world title shot, that's rubbish. He doesn't deserve any world title shot."

Dereck Chisora appeared out of nowhere at Dillian Whyte's latest press conference

Although prepared to fight Haye, Whyte appears to be on a collision course with former British and European heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora following a confrontation at a press conference.
