Dillian Whyte is the latest British fighter to join Matchroom Boxing, promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed.
Hearn has also revealed that Whyte will make his return to the ring on the undercard of Anthony Joshua v Dominic Breazeale at the O2 Arena on June 25.
"Closing out the week with a bang I am delighted to announce @DillianWhyte has signed with @MatchroomBoxing team - will return June 25 @TheO2," Hearn tweeted from his official Twitter account.
Whyte has been out of action since December, having undergone shoulder surgery following his devastating knockout defeat to Joshua.
The Brixton heavyweight, who lost his previously unbeaten record against Joshua, sustained the injury midway through the fight against his bitter domestic rival.
Whyte joins a Matchroom stable, which already includes the likes of Joshua, Kell Brook, Callum Smith, Scott Quigg, Anthony Crolla and James DeGale.
