Tyson Fury has revealed that claims of being knocked out in sparring and a fall-out with his uncle and trainer, Peter Fury, were just mind games.
The WBA Super and WBO heavyweight world champion claimed on Wednesday he was considering looking for a new trainer after being told to "sort his head out" in time for the rematch with Wladimir Klitschko.
However, late on Wednesday night Fury took to social media platform Instagram to explain his claims had been made up.
The 27-year-old said: "Ok guys I've been fooling you all. There was no knockdowns in the gym, as if it's possible for me to get chinned off a [light heavyweight]!
"I've lost over 10kg, feeling great and never been so on [course] for a fight with two months left to go. Stripping the weight nicely, but keeping the muscle, all going good. I play mind games."
Peter Fury joked earlier in the week that "apart from Tyson getting knocked out every five seconds, everything in the camp is great".
Following his initial claims, Tyson Fury insisted they were not an attempt to play mind games ahead of his Manchester showdown with Klitschko on July 9, despite Peter's claims that the heavyweight champion is "always on the wind-up".
