A match-up between Anthony Joshua and David Haye is the fight the whole country wants, according to Naseem Hamed.

Joshua's path to the top of the heavyweight division is being carefully plotted by Eddie Hearn, who said this week the new IBF champion would likely face Tyson Fury before any contest with Haye.

But the Haye fight is the pick of the bunch, as far as Britain's boxing 'Prince' is concerned.

"The fight I'd really want to watch is David Haye and Mr Joshua," former world featherweight champ Hamed told Sky Sports News HQ.

Tyson Fury insists he's got nothing left to prove and he wouldn't be fighting Joshua for his IBF title

"I think the whole of London and the whole of the UK would want to watch that fight."

Haye reckons he will get to Joshua before Fury, who has the WBA and WBO belts and faces a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko in July.

But another of Britain's boxing greats Ricky Hatton believes Fury-Joshua will be a fascinating contest when it happens.

He said: "Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua? Styles make fights, and that would be a great clash of styles and a great clash of personalities.

"Tyson's got all the mouth and Anthony keeps his feet on the ground and doesn't really say much. It's a nice Jekyll and Hyde-type fight."
