Kell Brook insists he's ready for an old-fashioned war with Kevin Bizier

Kell Brook is relishing the prospect of an "old-fashioned war" against mandatory challenger Kevin Bizier on Saturday.

Sheffield's IBF world welterweight champion defends his crown in front of his home fans - live on Sky Sports - and hopes to meet the Canadian visitor in the centre of the ring and slug it out.

Brook (35-0-KO24) told Thursday's press conference: "I'm desperate for an old-fashioned war. I know Bizier is a strong come-forward fighter and I'm looking to excite everybody with an old-fashioned war.

"It's nearly been a year since I was back in the Sheffield Arena. I can't wait to get weighed in, get some 'scran' in me and get ready for fight night.
