Ryder (21-2-KO12) narrowly lost a decision to now-world champion Billy Joe Saunders in September 2013 and his only other career defeat came against Nick Blackwell in May of last year.
In Khomitsky (30-12-3), he takes on a Ukrainian who has never shied away from the big guns, with names such as Gennady Golovkin and Martin Murray on his record.
