The British Boxing Board of Control will meet on Thursday to decide if Dereck Chisora will be disciplined for throwing a table at Dillian Whyte.
Chisora hurled furniture in his rival's direction at Wednesday's press conference after the pair traded insults ahead of their fight in Manchester on Saturday night.
The two London heavyweights will now weigh in separately on Friday to avoid further confrontation before they are due to meet on the Anthony Joshua-Eric Molina undercard.
In the meantime the BBBofC's general secretary Robert Smith has told Sky Sports News HQ a meeting is scheduled for 3pm and any decision will be communicated soon afterwards.
Chisora will be looking to reclaim the British title from holder Whyte this weekend in a fight doubling up as a WBC eliminator.
